Meet Our Herbalist

The great success of our products is directly attributable to Martha Volchok RH (AHG). She is the master herbalist that created all of our formulations and is one of the founders of Blessed Herbs.

Martha is a gifted and meticulous herbalist - someone who truly embodies the holistic approach. She's also a very brave person who has had to contend with a lifetime of disabilities and illnesses. Yet despite these challenges, Martha has never approached her work from the point of view of "fixing what's broken" - but always from the perspective of "what is healthy and natural?"

It was well over ten years ago that Martha started to put together our Internal Cleansing program. To her this was the ultimate formula. It was a chance for her to put everything she has ever done into one product. All the formulas balance each other and are themselves balanced with herbs to make the process as smooth and natural as possible. Martha spent eight months formulating the Internal Cleansing Kit. Eight months of constantly pondering and feeling: twelve formulas, over a hundred herbs, dosages, and the effect of each herb on someone's body. She drew from her expertise and the experience of others and combined these building blocks with her healing intuition to create one master program. Martha has an incredible innate sensitivity that permeates all she does. It is this sensitivity coupled with an equally incredible appreciation for pain, which allows her to intuitively create a formula. Every herbal formula that she has ever made was created in response to a specific request from someone in need that asked for help. In the case of the Internal Cleansing Kit, that need came from a group of holistic health practitioners that needed a cleansing program that would clear away the interferences that were keeping their patients from getting well.
