If you have a true Vitamin D deficiency I would recommend taking a Vitamin D supplement so the dosage is consistent each time in order to achieve what your body requires. Although Alfalfa, Horsetail, Stinging Nettles LeafÂ and Parsley are nutrient rich in minerals and vitamins, since they are natural products the amounts of Vitamin D may vary from season to season and it’s difficult to measure how much your intake would be. Of course there is no harm using those herbs as supportive maintenance to your daily diet, but only after you have your Vitamin D deficiency under control.
