What is your education or professional work experience?
Dr. Jason R. Jenkins DC, CSCS is a licensed Chiropractor in the state of Connecticut. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a Certified Personal Trainer. He received his undergraduate degree in Nutrition from the University of Delaware and his Doctor of Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic in Connecticut. Dr. Jenkins is the Author and former Program Coordinator of the Exercise Science Program at Norwalk Community College where he currently teaches as an Adjunct Professor.
Dr. Jenkins has received a Certificate of Proficiency in the Webster Technique (a specific analysis and adjustment used for pregnant mothers) from The International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. This chiropractic technique helps to correct sacral misalignment, balance pelvic muscles and ligaments which in turn removes torsion to the woman’s uterus, its resulting constraint to the baby, and allows the baby to get into the best possible position for birth.
Dr. Jenkins is the local representative for the both the Wellness Education Foundation and the Foundation for Wellness Professionals, Inc., National Not-For-Profit Organizations, comprised of health care providers who volunteer to educate their communities on wellness and disease prevention. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine and the Society for Weight Training Injury Specialists (two elite organizations that focus on health and the maximum performance of the human body). He has served on the medical team at the New York City Marathon, The Connecticut State Nutmeg Games, and as the team physician for Norwalk Community College, the Northern Raiders Semiprofessional Rugby Team, and the Connecticut Giants Semiprofessional Football Team. He is in Private Practice in Milford, Connecticut and serves on the board of the Milford Youth Services Network and is a founding member of the Milford Health and Wellness Council.
What is your expertise or focus?
Dr. Jenkins focuses on the elimination of the dis-ease of the body followed by the enhancement of overall health maintenance for his patients. This is done by enhancing the body¿s innate healing capacity through specific chiropractic care and coaching with lifestyle management via nutrition, stress management and exercise. When asked what his specialty is, he states, “I genuinely love to take care of the individual who has been to every other type of practitioner and has come to me as a last resort. We have helped our patients (from newborns to seniors) avoid, reduce and eliminate medications in order to either start living or get their lives back.”
How do you work with clients?
Following an in office consultation and examination, a care plan is designed to enable our patients to systematically remove interference to the body and, over time, adopt a healthy-living lifestyle.

Cost for initial consultation (45min – 1 hr) = $150
Follow-up visits (10-30min) = $55-$75

What is your experience with the Blessed Herbs cleansing products?
I have been using the Blessed Herbs products for several years now. Personally my family and I follow the same regimen recommended to our patients: the Internal Cleansing Kit yearly followed by the Colon Cleansing Kit two additional times during the year.
