Herbal Ingredients

Echinacea Angustifolia root – Echinacea strains have long been used by Native Americans for a wide variety of medicinal purposes. Although not confirmed with empirical evidence, there is a widely-held belief that Echinacea can promote an increased immune response which in part can lessen the duration and severity of cold & flu symptoms.*

Yarrow herb and Flowers - Once used as an ointment for wounds, Yarrow is a common herb with carminative and healthy inflammatory response inducing properties. Yarrow can vitalize the blood and can be used as a topical astringent as well.*

Pipsissewa herb - Named for a Cree word that means “to break into pieces,” Pipsissewa has antiseptic and astringent properties. Pipsissewa can also be utilized to promote long-term support of kidney and bladder functions.*

Oregon Grape root - Used in traditional native American remedies, Oregon grape root is packed with berberine, an alkaloid known for its ability to promote healthy inflammatory and bacterial responses in your body. It is also known as a treatment for common skin maladies which may be associated with prostate health.*

Corn silk - Full of plant sterols, vitamin C, vitamin K and potassium, Corn Silk is an herbal remedy that is often used to promote regularity and healthy inflammatory responses in the urinary system. Other beneficial properties for your kidneys, bladder, liver and gall bladder have also been reported.*

Kava root - The roots of the Piper methysticum plant (Kava Root) are used throughout Asia and the Pacific Rim in traditional rituals and healing rites. The potent plant compounds called kava lactones give the Kava plant its active attributes. Kava may promote calmness & clarity of focus, improved mood and can support healthy sleep habits without habit-forming side-effects. Kava may relax both muscles and mind, making it an excellent addition to any herbal remedy.*

Hydrangea root - Hydrangea is commonly known as “Silverleaf” in its native habitat of southern Appalachia because of its distinctive leaves: dark green on top, silvery-white below. Employed in herbal medicines because of its detoxifying properties, Hydrangea root can be used to promote healthy functions of the kidneys and bladder.*
